Do you have someone you would like to nominate for the 2010 Anna Maria Citizen of the Year Award? Nominations are now open, with a closing date of September 17th for applications. The 2010 Citizens Recognition Committee which includes Chair Carolyne Norwood, Chris Collins, Judy Chable, Janet Coleman Betty Yanger and Sandy Mattick will make their selection announcement on October 28th.
Nominees may be individuals residing in the city of Anna Maria for 2 years, or a firm, corporation, organization, or civic group that has existed in the city of Anna Maria for at least two years.
If you know someone you'd like to see recognized in this way, get your nominations in. Local businesses should receive a nomination form via their NEMO membership (North End Merchants Organization), or pick one up at City Hall, or through the City's website.
