Barefoot Wine & Bubbly

We are delighted to have bought Barefoot Wine's to Anna Maria Island and we are enjoying sampling and learning all about the wonderful range of white, red and sparkling wines and champagnes, so that we can help you select the perfect choice for any occassion, from a family BBQ, to a fabulous birthday, wedding or anniversary celebration, or as we like to enjoy them, relaxing on the porch at home!

We have a great selection of Barefoot Wines, including; Chardonnay, White Zinfandel, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Merlot and some delicious sparkling wines and Champagnes, including Rose Cuvee, Pinot Grigio and Brut Cuvee!

Originally produced in 1965 by self taught Californian winemaker Davis Bynum, this 'garage-style' business was bought by Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey in 1986. And, since then they have, with their team of 'Barefooters', established Barefoot wines as a national brand, offering top-quality Californian wine, at a reasonable price. Their culture is one of community and giving back, and Barefoot is dedicated to grass roots causes and are involved in thousands of charitable events worldwide, up to 1,500 in one year alone! Events range from big ones like the Multpile Sclerosis fundraiser in LA, to small ones like the Hudson River Cruise to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of New York.

In 2007, Barefoot partnered with the Surfrider Foundation, a group dedicated to the protection of the world's oceans and launched the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project. Gathering together local volunteers, they work together to clean up beaches across the country that are closed or posted as unhealthy; 25,000 across the US. And, when finished, they celebrate with great music, delicious local food and of course some wonderful Barefoot wine, whilst having a great time!
